Around 31 Saudi Citizens, 1143 Others Countries’ Nationals Evacuated from Sudan to Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: Several evacuees arrived from the Republic of Sudan to the city of Jeddah on Monday as part of the ongoing evacuation efforts carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the orders of the Kingdom’s Leadership, including 453 Yemeni and Sudanese citizens and people from other countries through ships of “Abha” and “Riyadh.”

In addition, three Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft arrived in Jeddah with 690 people from Sudan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Indonesia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Russia, and the United States of America in addition to 31 Saudi citizens.

Since the start of the process, the total number of evacuees from Sudan is approximately 8498 people, including 278 Saudi citizens and 8220 people belonging to 110 nationalities.

The Kingdom worked to meet all foreign nationals’ needs in preparation for facilitating their departure to their countries.
