MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Pakistan Army, in collaboration with the Department of Livestock and Dairy Development, organized a free veterinary camp in Tehsil Malakwal, Mandi Bahaudin on Thursday.
In camp, 162 cattle were examined and provided with treatment.
The treatment and diagnostic aspects offered to the cattle included pesticides, vaccinations, artificial insemination procedures, pregnancy diagnosis, ultrasound, while most of the routine treatments and check-ups were also conducted.
Free livestock medicine was provided to needy farmers, while the team also distributed free seasonal fodder bundles among them.
Special stalls of Fuji Foods Private Limited, Seeds Private Limited and Department of Livestock and Dairy Development Tehsil Malkwal were also set u in the camp.
Camp raises awareness
Pamphlets on animal health and care were distributed to create awareness among the farmers.
The locals and cattle keepers highly appreciated the Free Veterinary Camp of Pak Army.
