GUWAHATI, India: In a deeply troubling incident shedding light on rising psychological issues within the Indian Army, a Major and his wife have been found guilty of subjecting a minor girl to severe physical torture and stripping her naked in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Major Shailendra Yadav and his wife Kimmy Ralson are alleged to have scalded the minor with hot water and forcibly removed her clothing in Palampur city of Himachal Pradesh. The girl, who recently returned to her family in Haflong, Assam, has been subjected to this horrific abuse.
Major Shailendra Yadav is currently stationed in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. The shocking incident involving the abuse of a minor prompted authorities to take swift action.
Both Major Shailendra Yadav and Kimmy Ralson were presented before the additional court of the Haflong judicial magistrate, which promptly ordered their judicial custody. This reflects the gravity of the situation and the determination to hold the perpetrators accountable for their heinous actions.
In the meantime, the minor victim is currently under medical care at Haflong Civil Hospital in Assam.
