LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Friday that he felt that the current Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, was treating him like an enemy.
The former Prime Minister said this while addressing a news conference in Lahore. He said that the “establishment does not understand what politics is.”
Talking about the General Election, the PTI Chairman said that his party will win the election despite the possible rigging by PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement) with the support of umpires.

Imran Khan also accused Gen (retd) Qamar Jawed Bajwa of “backstabbing” him, lamenting that the former army chief had spoken against Moscow right after he had gone there for a visit following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.
In response to a question regarding his recent trip to Islamabad, Imran Khan said that he changed the decision to travel to the capital by road instead of air as he received news of his possible arrest from the airport to shift him to Balochistan.
Imran Khan expressed concerns that he was “in danger from those who should protect me.” He added that going to jail would earn the party more votes.
Imran Khan further said that women who had been elected on reserved seats also wanted to be considered as candidates for the post of the Punjab chief minister.
