DOHA: Argentine football coach Lionel Scaloni said on Tuesday his team did not take Saudi Arabia lightly ahead of its shocking 2-1 FIFA World Cup defeat in the Gulf country.

FIFA World Cup: Saudi Arabia is a good team

Lionel Scaloni said that they fully respect Saudi Arabia as they have for the rest of the teams, adding Saudi Arabia is a good team with technical players and all the footballers are well prepared physically.

Despite the suffering of the key FIFA world cup shocks, he hoped that the team will play better against Poland and Mexico.

Argentina will face Poland and Mexico.

Argentina had lost its opening World Cup match against Cameroon before bouncing back to reach the final of the mega event in 1990. The coach said that the match against Mexico will be tough as every team is at the FIFA World Cup.  He added that the team needs to win the rest of the two games to move on in the tournament.
