RIYADH: Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) Secretary-General Abdullah bin Suhail Al-Muhaidli on Wednesday met with Sudanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dafallah Al-Hajj Ali and deliberated on the current humanitarian situation in Sudan, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Al-Muhaidli during the meeting emphasized Riyadh-based ARCO’s backing of its member national associations and its dedicated mission to serve humanity. He reaffirmed the organization’s steadfast commitment to continue this role, in coordination with these associations, to help those affected by crises.
Ambassador Ali thanked ARCO for its continuous assistance to Sudan and the pivotal role it has played in enhancing humanitarian responses for those affected. He said the current situation in Sudan, has led to the displacement of over 13 million individuals.
