CAIRO: The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the escalating crimes and violations by settlers against innocent Palestinians in the West Bank, a statement said on Monday.

The settlers are committing crimes such as shooting at Palestinians and burning their homes and vehicles, with the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

The Arab Parliament, in a statement, held the Israeli occupation entity and the extremist right-wing government fully responsible for such crimes.

It added that subsequent crimes violate international law and all legitimate international resolutions.

The parliament said, these actions lead to escalating tensions and undermine the prospects for a two-state solution.

The Arab Parliament also stressed upon the global community and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to ensure international protection for the Palestinian people and urgently intervene to force the Israeli occupation to stop all its colonial activities and immediately stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
