The International Criminal Court has an imperative to conduct a swift probe into the current crimes committed by Israel since its so-called commencement. This was stated by Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Aboul-Gheit. The statement was issued by Assistant Secretary for Palestinian affairs Ambassador Saeed Abu-Ali on behalf of the Arab League Secretary General.

UNSC and other international organizations must take a position to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory to pave the way for the formation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and centered on the capital of East Jerusalem.

The Secretary General of Arab League said that the international community should also take actions against the offensive extreme right-wing policies of the Israeli government, which was annoying Palestinians.

He stressed that the Palestinians have had enough of injustice and aggression that lasted for more than seven decades starting 1948 when more than 800,000 Palestinians were kicked off their homes and lands. The Zionist forces then destroyed 531 villages and towns during Al-Nakba.

As many as 70 acts of genocide were conducted with 15,000 Palestinians were killed in cold-blood, the statement of Secretary General noted, adding that since Al-Nakba more than100,000 Palestinians have lost their lives.

The impact of the day also affected more than 5,000 Palestinians who dwelled in Israeli prisons without any reason, the statement said.
