ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) leadership on Friday expressed its gratitude to Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb for resolving the issues faced by the newspaper industry.
APNS President Sarmad Ali and Secretary General Nazafreen Saigol Lakhani, in a joint statement, lauded the federal government’s decision to lift a ban on purchase of newspapers by the government offices.
They hoped that it would surely help to mitigate problems of the newspaper industry and its workers.
The officials added that information minister Maryam Aurangzeb was pursuing a media-friendly policy that would help to improve the media industry.
