ISLAMABAD: Vice Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar has stated that Pakistan’s unwavering and unprecedented support for the Kashmir cause gives courage and inspiration to the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir who are battling for their right to self-determination.
Kashmir Media Service reported that Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar claimed in a statement from Srinagar that the way Pakistanis demonstrated their support for the oppressed people of the occupied territory on August 5 by holding rallies and organizing other events showed Pakistan is standing with Kashmiris like a rock and won’t leave them at the mercy of Hindutva terrorism.
The APHC head extended appreciation to the Pakistani people, government, and army for organizing large-scale rallies in favor of Kashmiris throughout Pakistan. He also praised Pakistanis and Kashmiris who live abroad for their efforts to draw attention to Indian crimes in IIOJK.
In response to the APHC’s appeal, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar also praised the people of occupied Kashmir for honoring August 5 as Black Day. To stop India’s assault on their fundamental rights, he urged the Kashmiris to establish unity within their ranks. Additionally, he pleaded for the civilized world to reject disinformation and step forward to prevent India from breaking international laws and regulations in the internationally recognized disputed area of Jammu and Kashmir. —APP
