SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has fervently rejected the Indian government’s attempts to change the demographic landscape of occupied Kashmir. In a statement, the APHC spokesperson, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas stated that the people of Kashmir will never accept the illegal changes imposed by the extremist BJP on August 5, 2019.

The APHC leader accused the BJP government of employing Israeli tactics to suppress the struggle of Kashmiris for self-determination. Minhas highlighted the regime’s brutal acts, including attaching properties, appending government services, and settling outsiders in occupied Kashmir to change its Muslim-majority status.

The APHC leader emphasized that these steps aim to erase the Muslim character of Kashmir and render Kashmiris homeless in their own soil. He strongly denounced the use of draconian laws like the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) as political vendetta.
