SRINAGAR, Occupied Kashmir: In recent times, the leadership of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has paid heartfelt homage to the brave youth who were tragically martyred by Indian forces in various regions of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The APHC, deeply moved by the loss of these young lives, stands resolute in advocating for the rights and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
According to a report by Kashmir Media Service, a distressing series of events unfolded as the Indian troops conducted what they termed ‘cordon and search operations’ in areas across Islamabad, Baramulla, Poonch, and Reasi districts within the occupied territory. Over the span of the last two weeks, ten young individuals fell victim to this strife.
Prominent figures within the APHC, such as Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Saleem Zargar, Yasmeen Raja, Maulana Musiab Nadvi, Muhammad Aqib, and Umar Mughal, voiced their sentiments in statements released from Srinagar. They unequivocally condemned the loss of these young lives and denounced the heinous actions undertaken by the Indian troops. The APHC leaders emphasized that such acts of brutality cannot cow down the resilient Kashmiri populace, reinforcing their determination to continue the just struggle for the realization of their United Nations-recognized right to self-determination until it achieves its rightful and logical conclusion.
