BEIRUT: The second relief plane of the Saudi air bridge operated by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport carrying aid for the Lebanese capital, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
The plane was carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies upon the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
This assistance aims to lessen the suffering of the affected Lebanese people and constitutes part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for various Lebanese humanitarian and relief sectors.
It is also in keeping with the significant humanitarian role that the Kingdom plays through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, in aiding countries in times of crisis.
