ANKARA: President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday said that Ankara will continue its efforts to resolve the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. The President said that he will soon hold talks with the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine to discuss the current situation with them.
He told Turkish media outlet TRT World that he will have talks with the Russian President and Ukrainian President on Sunday.

Erdogan added Turkiye wants to strengthen the grain corridor agreement. It may be recalled that the UN, Russia, and Turkiye inked a deal in Istanbul to resume grain exports from three Ukrainian Black Sea ports on July 22.
President Erdogan said that they strongly defended Ukraine’s territorial integrity and opposed fueling tension in the area with irrational policies toward Moscow.
Turning to the fight against terrorism, President Erdogan slammed some countries including some NATO members for supporting some groups in Syria that threaten Turkiye and stability in the region. – APP
