ANF Seizes 76.5 kg of Drugs in Nationwide Operations

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 76.5 kg of drugs valued at Rs 180 million in five operations across Pakistan, arresting five suspects, including an Afghan national. The raids targeted drug dealers supplying to educational institutions.

In Rawalpindi, 1200 grams of hashish were seized from a suspect near a private university. In Quetta, 20 kg of hashish was confiscated from another suspect near a major educational institution. An Afghan resident was caught near the Pak-Afghan border in Torkham with 8 kg of powder for making intoxicant tablets. Additionally, over 40 kg of heroin was seized in operations near Jamshoro and Loralai. Legal cases have been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
