RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting six operations across the country managed to recover 75 kg of drugs and arrested four accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Monday.
At Bacha Khan International Airport, 700 grams of Ice drug were discovered in a passenger’s trolley bag, who was bound for Doha on flight QR-601.
In the Shahdara Lahore area, 60 kg of hashish and 2.5 kg of Ice were confiscated, leading to the arrest of a suspect.
Two separate operations near the Khar border in the Bajaur area resulted in the recovery of a total of 10 kg of hashish.
In Peshawar, an accused motorcycle rider was apprehended, and 2.4 kg of hashish was seized.
Additionally, 500 ecstasy tablets were retrieved from an individual in Peshawar Mor Rawalpindi.
The arrested individuals face charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and ongoing investigations are being conducted. —APP
