ANF Recovers 204 Kg Drugs in Seven Operations Across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven operations across the country and recovered 204 kg of drugs and arrested six accused, said an ANF spokesperson on Tuesday.  The spokesperson said that 2.8 kg of heroin was recovered from the parcel destined for London at a courier office in Karachi.  Additionally, 980 grams of ice (crystal meth) were recovered from a passenger traveling to Bahrain at Peshawar Airport.

In another operation, 88.8 kg of hashish and 31.2 kg of opium were seized from a vehicle stopped near Kot Abdul Malik Toll Plaza in Lahore, resulting in the arrest of a suspect. A separate incident involved the recovery of 72 kg of hashish from a vehicle near Ravi Toll Plaza in Lahore, leading to another arrest.

Furthermore, in three operations conducted on the M-1 Motorway near Islamabad, authorities seized 3 kg of opium, 5 kg of hashish, and 300 grams of ice, apprehending three suspects. Cases have been filed against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are underway.
