RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) reported a successful series of operations on Tuesday, culminating in the recovery of 8 kilograms of various drugs and the arrest of seven individuals. According to the ANF spokesperson, these operations involved six distinct actions across multiple locations.
At Peshawar Airport, authorities intercepted two passengers traveling to Jeddah and Sharjah, seizing 84 ice and 99 heroin-filled capsules. In a separate operation at Lahore Airport, 3.2 kilograms of ice were recovered from a passenger heading to Jeddah. Karachi Airport also witnessed a significant bust, with 547 grams of ice confiscated from another Jeddah-bound traveler.
Further seizures included 3.6 kilograms of hashish from an individual arrested in Muzaffargarh, and 1.4 kilograms of ice found on two suspects near Chungi No 26 in Islamabad. The ANF has registered cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested individuals, with ongoing investigations to further address and resolve these drug trafficking activities.
