RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted a series of operations across Pakistan resulting in significant drug seizures and arrests.

In one operation at Islamabad Airport, 440 grams of Ice were seized from a passenger bound for Qatar. Another operation at the same airport led to the confiscation of 54 heroin-filled capsules and 4 suspicious materials from a passenger heading to Karachi.

Similarly, at Lahore Airport, 70 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from a passenger en route to Abu Dhabi. In addition to airport busts, law enforcement recovered 50 kg of hashish from the Turbat area and 1 kg of hashish from a woman arrested near M-1 Motorway Islamabad. These operations underscore ANF’s efforts to curb drug trafficking across various regions of the country.

The ANF arrested four suspects in connection with these operations, and cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against them. Further investigations are currently underway to dismantle any related drug trafficking networks and prosecute those involved. These concerted efforts aim to combat the illegal drug trade and ensure the safety and security of communities throughout Pakistan.
