RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has six accused and recovered 273 kg of drugs and 770 litres of hydrochloric acid during eight operations across Pakistan.
According to an ANF spokesperson, 3.5 kg of Ice drug was intercepted from a parcel destined for Bangladesh at a courier office in Karachi. In a separate operation, 3 kg of hashish was found in a package originating from Karachi and headed to Peshawar.
At Peshawar Airport, authorities confiscated 416 grams of heroin from a passenger bound for Sharjah. Additionally, 770 litres of hydrochloric acid were seized in the Chaman area, while 108 kg of hashish and 73 kg of opium were recovered in Tarnol, Rawalpindi, leading to the arrest of two suspects. In Othal Lasbela, 33.6 kg of hashish was confiscated from two suspects. Furthermore, ANF recovered 32 kg of heroin from the Lakpas Mustang area and over 19 kg of hashish from an individual at Jamshoro Toll Plaza, Hyderabad. Cases have been registered against the accused under Anti-Narcotics Act. —APP
