ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan has arrested a group of international drug dealers as well as seized large quantity of drugs in several operations across the country.
According to the ANF spokesperson, the detained group was involved in drug smuggling to Arab countries through capsules and other methods by luring low-income people. The ones arrested – Abdul Jameel Khalil from Peshawar, and Shameem Khan and Muhammad Afham from Karachi include in the suppliers and carriers of drugs.
Recovered Drugs
The seized drugs include 428 heroin-filled capsules, 259 marijuana-filled capsules and 3.6 kgs Chars. As many as 400 kg hashish was recovered during operations in Kech area of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, ANF and FC, in a joint operation in Khyber, recovered 20 kg of hashish found in plastic bags. The spokesman said that cases have been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigation is underway.
