ANF Arrests Four on Narcotics Recovery

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan seized over three kilogrammes of narcotics and arrested four suspects in four counter-narcotics operations across the country, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday.

He stated that during an operation at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport, 127g of charras were recovered from the possession of two Sharjah-bound passengers, both of whom were Karak residents travelling on flight ER-751. Another operation recovered 70 g of heroin from a parcel booked for Qatar at the Rawalpindi mail office.

ANF’s recovery

ANF recovered 1.8 kg charras and 104 g heroin from the possession of an accused resident of Multan during a third operation near Multan Airport Road.

According to the spokesman, ANF recovered one kilogramme of Ice drug from the possession of two drug traffickers from Karachi during a raid in Garden Town. Separate cases have been filed against the accused, and additional investigations are underway. — APP
