American Actor Tom Sizemore Dies at 61

WASHINGTON: Tom Sizemore actor whose bright 1990s star burned out under the weight of his drug convictions and domestic violence, died Friday at age 61.

On February 18, the star actor suffered a brain aneurysm at his residence in Los Angeles. His manager Charles Lago said that Sizemore died in his sleep at a hospital in California on Friday.

Sizemore became a star with eulogized appearances in “Natural Born Killers” and the crime film “Heat.” However, abuse allegations and severe substance dependency devastated his career, made him homeless, and sent him to prison.

Sizemore had scores of television credits and steady film and _ though his career never regained its one-time momentum. Aside from “Pearl Harbor” and “Black Hawk Down,” most of his twenty century roles came in little-seen productions, and low-budget where he continued to play the fierce, tough guys he became famous for portraying.

Sizemore was once married to actor Maeve Quinlan and was arrested on allegations of beating her in 1997. While the beating charges were dropped, the couple divorced in 1999.

H was also part of the voice cast for video game named “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City”. According to recent advertisements, he also taught classes at the LA West Acting Studio.

Sizemore is survived by his teen twin sons, Jagger and Jayden, and his brother Paul, all were by his side when he died.

“I have led an interesting life, but I can not tell you what I had give to be the guy you did not know anything about,” Sizemore wrote in his memoir.
