DAMASCUS: Al-Mayadeen reported on Sunday that the US base located in the al-Omar oil field in eastern Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, has experienced a series of bombings, resulting in explosions within the base.

According to sources cited by Al-Mayadeen, the blasts were audible in the areas surrounding the base.

Over the past few days, the al-Omar oil field base has been the target of multiple bombings, with a recent missile strike reported by Al-Mayadeen.

Local reports suggest that six missiles were launched from the desert region between the cities of Al-Mayadeen and Al-Bukamal, specifically targeting the base.

The Pentagon has acknowledged that US forces faced no less than 12 attacks in Iraq and four in Syria just last week.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq continues its campaign against US bases in Syria and Iraq, concurrently with the ongoing “al-Aqsa Flood” operations.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has claimed responsibility for striking US bases, including Ain al-Assad, al-Tanf, Harir, Koniko, and al-Shaddadi, along with the base at “Abu Hajar Airport – Kharab al-Jir.” In addition, they targeted American forces in the vicinity of Erbil Airport in Iraqi Kurdistan.
