RIYADH: Saudi Arabian football club Al-Ittihad has successfully secured an agreement with French striker Karim Benzema to join the team on a two-year deal, according to Saudi state-run Al-Ekhbariya television station.

The announcement comes after Real Madrid confirmed that the 35-year-old would be leaving the LaLiga club following a highly successful 14-year tenure.
