Air Fryer Brownies Recipe

ISLAMABAD: You don’t need an oven to make chocolate brownies! These fudgy, gooey treats can be easily prepared in an air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar or brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Chopped nuts (optional)
  • Chocolate chips
  • Chopped dark chocolate (optional)
  • Chopped white chocolate (optional)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Line the bottom of a 7-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup of butter and the chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir intermittently until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
  3. Add the two eggs to the melted mixture and whisk until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt, and chopped nuts.
  5. Stir until the batter is smooth, then set it aside.
  6. Preheat the air fryer, ensuring you set the correct temperature.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Set the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on your air fryer, so keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  9. If you prefer fudgy brownies, bake them for a shorter time; for a firmer, cake-like texture, extend the baking time.
  10. Remove the pan from the air fryer and let it cool. Your air fryer brownies are now ready to enjoy.
