ISLAMABAD: You don’t need an oven to make chocolate brownies! These fudgy, gooey treats can be easily prepared in an air fryer.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar or brown sugar
- 6 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- Chocolate chips
- Chopped dark chocolate (optional)
- Chopped white chocolate (optional)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
- Line the bottom of a 7-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup of butter and the chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir intermittently until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
- Add the two eggs to the melted mixture and whisk until well combined.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt, and chopped nuts.
- Stir until the batter is smooth, then set it aside.
- Preheat the air fryer, ensuring you set the correct temperature.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Set the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on your air fryer, so keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- If you prefer fudgy brownies, bake them for a shorter time; for a firmer, cake-like texture, extend the baking time.
- Remove the pan from the air fryer and let it cool. Your air fryer brownies are now ready to enjoy.
