Air Chief Grieves Over Demise of Parvez Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu on Sunday expressed heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of General (retd) Parvez Musharraf.

According to a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) news release, the CAS said, “May Allah bless the departed soul with eternal peace. May Allah give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen”.

Parvez Musharraf passes away at 79

Parvez Musharraf passed away at a private hospital in Dubai. He was 79.

Musharraf had been admitted to the American Hospital in Dubai. The former president had been facing a prolonged battle with multiple diseases, including the rare disease amyloidosis.

Musharraf was hospitalized for three weeks in June last year.
