KATHMANDU: The Executive Committee of AIPS ASIA has expressed deep condolences to Secretary General of AIPS ASIA, and CEO of WE News Amjad Aziz Malik over the sad demise of his mother, a statement said on Friday.
During a meeting, the Executive Committee of AIPS ASIA has pledged its completely support for sports journalists across Asia, emphasizing that all issues faced by the profession will be addressed with dedicated efforts. The meeting was presided over by AIPS ASIA President Hee Don Jung.
The meeting also took key decisions including the formal approval of reports from the President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These reports included the successful quarterly publication of the AIPS Asia magazine and the introduction of the ‘Legends of Asia Awards’ at the 2023 Congress in Incheon.
First Vice President Adel Al Zahrani, Vice Presidents S. Sabanayakan, Ahmad Khawari Isa, Khalil Nadoum, Meizam Zamanabad, Mubarak Al Boanin, Treasurer Niranjan Rajbansi, and other prominent members including Hiroki, Helun Chi, Sanat Babla, Ahmed Al Kaabi, Abdullah Ibrahim, Jongkook Yang, Bashir Senan, and Raymond from the Hong Kong Sports Press Association also attended the meeting.
