TEHRAN: Pakistani young cueist Ahsan Ramzan made the nation proud again, defeating Iranian player Milad Pourali Darehchi in the final Under-21 Asian Snooker Championship in Tehran.
Ahsan won the first frame 48-46 after a close contest and quickly won the second frame 70-5(41). He won the third frame 61-6(52) and then the fourth frame 62-29.
Ahsan lost the fifth and sixth frames 30-71, 55-67 but won the seventh frame 101-27 to win the title.
Ahsan Ramzan also won the international amateur world title in 2022 and became the youngest Pakistani to win the title.
In praise of Ahsan Ramzan, 17, is the new Asian U21 Snooker Champion after defeating Iran's Milad Pourali Darehchi 5-2 in the final.
The funny part is, watching Ahsan grow up right in front of us, he wears glasses now.
