According to the Afghan media, the Afghan Ministry of Education said that girls can continue their education and study up to the fifth grade.

The Afghan Ministry of Educational has instructed schools, seminaries and educational institutions in Afghanistan to open schools and other academic centers for girls up to fifth grade.
Last month, the Taliban banned girls from pursuing education, leading to several provinces’ closure of primary and secondary schools.
Following the ban, women in several cities took to the streets in protest against the decision, while the world community condemned the Taliban’s action.
