PESHAWAR: A two-week sports gala for Afghan refugee youth living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will be organized with the collaboration of the Afghan Commissionerate and UNHCR on 29 November, Director Education and Youth Development Cell Ehsanullah said on Wednesday.
He said that the Afghan refugees will participate in different games, including futsal, cricket, drawing, and indoor games among others. The gala is part of the series of the Afghan Commissionerate Peshawar and UNHCR, which are conducting sports activities for the Afghan Youth since 2016.
The main purpose of the gala is to promote peace and harmony, sports, and cultural and co-curricular events. – APP
