Afghan Nationals Repatriation Continue Over 478,000 Leave Pakistan

PESHAWAR: Illegal Afghan nationals residing in Pakistan, the repatriation process has been unfolding smoothly. According to official statistics, a significant number of Afghan citizens, totaling 478,300, have returned to their native country as part of this ongoing initiative.

The recent phase of repatriation witnessed the return of 2,697 Afghan nationals, comprising 914 males, 765 females, and 1,018 children. The repatriation operation, executed with precision, utilized 110 vehicles to facilitate the return of 132 families to Afghanistan.

This systematic approach is dedicated to providing assistance to Afghan nationals who had been residing unlawfully in Pakistan. The collaborative efforts between the two nations aim to ensure a peaceful and organized return for those who are voluntarily choosing to go back to their home country.

The repatriation process remains in progress, with authorities committed to offering every possible facility to ease the return of Afghan nationals. This ongoing initiative reflects the cooperative spirit between Pakistan and Afghanistan, addressing the challenges associated with undocumented residency while prioritizing a secure and orderly transition for the returnees.
