Advanced Institute of Culinary Arts To Be Established in Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City

RIYADH: Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City has inked a deal with Le Cordon Bleu, one of the global leading centers of culinary arts and hospitality management organizations.

The deal will support the formation of an advanced institute of cooking arts within Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City and work to support and develop talents both globally and locally.

The deal was inked in the presence of David Henry, Chief Executive Officer of Mohammed bin Salman City; Andre Cointreau, head and CEO of Le Cordon Bleu; and Mayada Badr, Chief Executive Officer of the Culinary Arts Commission.

The formation of the educational organization comes as part of the commission’s initiatives to raise standards in culinary arts sector of the Kingdom. It makes global expertise accessible, as well as providing eminent educational options by attracting the prestigious culinary and hospitality teachers, academies and institutes to KSA.

David Henry added that Le Cordon Bleu will work in order to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, by providing great opportunities for Saudi citizens, while attracting talent across the world. Cointreau added: “Saudi chefs are creative, and the culinary institution will help them improve their basic skills.”

Badr said: “We look to inspiring and building major skills to enable all students to gain diverse cultural experience in the sector of culinary arts.”
