ISLAMABAD: Adobe has integrated Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Express into ChatGPT, enabling users to edit images, design graphics, and manage PDFs directly within the OpenAI’s chatbot.

This integration is part of a broader effort by software companies to incorporate everyday tools into conversational AI platforms, streamlining user workflows and reducing the need to toggle between different applications.

The integration is designed to provide a more efficient, AI-driven experience for over 800 million weekly active ChatGPT users, giving them access to powerful Adobe tools within the same platform.

Whether it’s fine-tuning a photo, creating a new graphic, or summarizing a PDF, users can now issue commands within ChatGPT, which will trigger the relevant Adobe application to perform the task.

This move marks a significant expansion for Adobe, which is seeking to adapt its professional design software to an AI-powered, chat-based interface.

Adobe’s Push to Engage New Users

While Adobe declined to disclose financial terms with OpenAI, the company emphasized that this collaboration aims to introduce its powerful suite of tools to new users.

To access these features, users will need to register with Adobe, which provides an opportunity for the company to expand its customer base, especially among those new to creative software.

The integration is expected to showcase Adobe’s flagship tools to a wider, more diverse audience.

Simplifying Creative Workflows with AI

Adobe’s collaboration with ChatGPT aims to simplify creative and productivity tasks for users, especially those who may not be well-versed in Adobe’s more complex desktop applications.

By combining the power of Adobe’s design tools with the conversational ease of ChatGPT, the integration offers a more intuitive interface for both beginners and seasoned creators alike.

Availability Across Platforms

Starting Wednesday, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Express are available for free within ChatGPT on desktop, web, and iOS platforms.

Adobe Express is already live for ChatGPT users on Android, with support for Photoshop and Acrobat expected to follow soon.

This rollout represents another step in Adobe’s ongoing effort to adapt to the AI-driven changes sweeping through the creative industries.

Building on Past Innovations

This integration builds on Adobe’s October announcement, when the company revamped its video and image editing tools to allow users to perform tasks via conversational AI assistants.

The current integration with ChatGPT further accelerates Adobe’s embrace of AI and its effort to make creative and productivity tools more accessible through chat-based platforms.
