Islamabad: The nominations for the 2023 Grammys have been announced with social media celebrities including Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Adele and Harry Styles leading to clinch the coveted awards. Beyoncé and Adele won’t be the only superstars vying for music’s most highly coveted trophies at the 65th Grammy Awards other social media celebrities have made it to the list of winners.
The official Grammys YouTube hosted a Livestream today (November 15) for the announcement with the winners set to be announced at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony on February 5, 2023.
Beyoncé clocked up the most nominations with nine nods including Record of The Year and Album of The Year, closely followed by Lamar with eight nominations.
Adele has so far received seven nominations and Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige and DJ Khaled each have received six. Jay-Z, who received five nominations, is now tied with Beyoncé for the most nominated artists in Grammy history, with 88 nods.
Notably, the 2023 Grammy Awards will be the first time Beyoncé and Adele compete for Record, Album, and Song of The Year since Adele won all three categories in 2017. Meanwhile, both Wet Leg and Mneskin received nominations for Best New Artist.
