RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has decided to extend additional assistance given to recipients of the Citizen Account Program for two more months.
Arab media reported that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recommended the extension on the orders of King Salman.
In July 2022 additional financial support to the program’s beneficiaries was granted through a royal directive until the end of the fiscal year 2022.

Under the royal directives registration for the program was to be open until July 2023 but now it is extended for two more months.
The program was established to protect Saudi citizens from international price hikes.
