LAHORE: In contrast to Alizeh Shah, who expressed her frustration over being trolled for her bold outfits, actor and model Maira Khan believes that people have every right to criticize what they find inappropriate according to societal norms.
She stated that actresses who wear revealing clothing should expect backlash, as such styles are generally not accepted in the society.
Maira emphasized that it’s natural for people to critique artists for wearing inappropriate attire. She added that when artists share photos or videos on social media, they should be ready for public reactions. As she stated, “Once you have made yourself public figure, people have the right to criticize, and it’s your responsibility to handle that.”
She also mentioned that some negative comments come from jealousy, and she has decided to block those who bring her down.
