ABBA Lead Vocalist Set to Release New Single

STOCKHOLM: Agnetha Faltskog, lead vocalist of mega-popular music group ABBA has announced to return to her music career with a release of a new song at the age of 73.

Faltskog, lead singer of ABBA, a successful Swedish pop group formed in 1972, released her last solo album almost 10 years ago.

ABBA star said she will release a new song on Thursday. Her announcement is a matter of joy for the fans who are eagerly waiting to listen her voice again.

The Swedish music sensation ABBA was formed in Stockholm in 1972.  The band rose to fame in 1974 after they won the Eurovision song contest with a song with the song “Waterloo”.

ABBA is one of the most popular and successful musical bands of all time, topping the music charts across the world from 1974 to 1982, and in 2022.

The music of ABBA is still played in movies, clubs, and appears on the Spotify charts.

ABBA is one of the best-selling music artists in history, with 200 million sold records across the world. In May 2023 the band was awarded the BRIT Billion Award which celebrates those who have reached the milestone of one billion UK streams in their career.

It is first group from a non-English-speaking country to achieve success in the charts of English-speaking countries.
