Governor Terms Unilateral Act of Aug 5 as Black Tint on India’s So-Called Democracy

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has termed New Delhi’s unilateral act of August 5 as a black tint on India’s so-called democracy.

While denouncing the Indian government on the eve of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) Exploitation Day on Friday, Kamran Tessori said that the international community was protesting against the illegal act of India.

He said that the Indian illegal action of August 5, 2019 revoked the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He added that the entire world including Pakistan were protesting against Indian atrocities and cruelties in Kashmir. He also asked the world for pressing New Delhi to take back its unconstitutional and illegal step.

The statement comes on the fourth anniversary of India’s unilateral and illegal acts in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019. On that day, the Indian extremist government, led by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), revoked Articles 370 and 35-A of the Indian Constitution, revoking the special status of Kashmir.
