ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karats of gold went up by Rs.800 and was sold at Rs.223,000 on Wednesday compared to Rs.222,200 on the last.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also appreciated by Rs686 to settle at Rs 191,187 from its previous price of Rs190,501 while the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold went up to Rs175,254 from the last day rates of Rs.174,626.
However, the price of per tola and ten grams of the white plate (silver) witnessed no change and settled at Rs2,800 and Rs2,400.54 respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local market, the price of the yellow plate in the international market also went up by $1 per ounce to settle at $1,951 from its last-day price of $1,950. Price in the international market usually influenced the local market. The local market observed the highest-ever price in May at Rs 2,40000 which declined to Rs 2,04500 in the middle of July. However, the last couple of days witnessed a continuous increase in the price both at national and international markets.
