GB Govt Collaborates with Prestigious Institutions for “1000 Education Fellows” Project

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) has taken a momentous step towards elevating its education system by forging a groundbreaking agreement with Aga Khan University (AKU), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Karakoram International University (KIU), and Knowledge Platform. The collaborative project, “1000 Education Fellows,” spanning three years and valued at 2.19 billion rupees, aims to significantly transform the educational landscape in the region.

Under this transformative initiative, AKU and its esteemed partners will recruit, train, and deploy 1000 Education Fellows to government schools in Gilgit Baltistan. This strategic approach is designed to enhance the quality of education and elevate learning outcomes for students in the region.
