Gold Price Declines by Rs 800 to Settle Rs224,500 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After a significant increase of over Rs 4000, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed a slight decrease by Rs800 to settle at Rs.224,500 in the Pakistani market on Tuesday compared to Rs 225,300 the last day.

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also went down by Rs.685 to settle at Rs.192,473 from Rs. 193,158, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold decreased to Rs 176,433 from Rs. 177,062.

However, the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant at Rs 2750 and Rs 2357.68, respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

like the local market, the price of the precious metal in the international market went down and decreased by $5 to settle at $1,960 per ounce against $1965 last day.

The last couple of weeks witnessed a volatile gold market both at the national and international stages. In Pakistan, it reached the highest ever Rs 240.000 per tola in May.
