BISP Beneficiaries in Punjab South Zone Receive Quarterly Installments Under the Kifalat Scheme

MULTAN: The fourth quarterly installment under BISP Kifalat program for FY 2022-2023 has been released as the facility would benefit around 2.3 million families enrolled in Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) South Zone Punjab.

BISP South Zone Punjab Director Sheikh Muhammad Ameen stated these points while discussing with APP here.

He said that such families who have received messages from 8171 and have not received their amount yet can approach nearby HBL konnects PoS or BISP Tehsil branches for help.

He informed that nearly 1.2 million beneficiaries have so far received the quarterly support across the zone, which is about 50 percent of the total.

Mr. Ameen stated that the money for the BISP educational scholarship scheme have also been disbursed with the 3 months scholarship and the students or beneficiaries can receive this amount.

He informed that education scholarship was offered from primary to higher secondary level to both girls and boys quarterly.

BISP zonal head stated that the amount of scholarship of Rs 1500 is for boys and Rs 2000 for girls students at the primary level.

Likewise, Rs 2000 for male students and Rs 2500 for female students in high school. It offered Rs 3000 for male students and Rs 3500 for female students in higher secondary school.

He said Rs 500 extra is fixed for female students at every level to encourage them to get education.

Cash can be withdrawn from designated Habib Bank retail centres.

The deserving women were asked to get the full amount and never forget to get the receipt.

Beneficiaries can report to BISP toll free 080026477 or DG helpline 04235415143 in case of any complaint regarding deduction of amount, payment hindrance or others, he concluded.
