ISLAMABAD: Jack Ma, the renowned co-founder of Alibaba Group, has arrived in Pakistan following his recent visit to Kathmandu, Nepal. Ma’s arrival in Pakistan marks a private visit after completing his engagements in Nepal.
According to reports, Ma flew into Pakistan on Thursday using a chartered aircraft provided by Hong Kong Business Aviation. His visit to Kathmandu was characterized by explorations of the city, including visits to popular tourist spots like Thamel, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and the Kalimati vegetable market during his stay at the Dwarika Hotel.
Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, former state minister and chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI), shared via Twitter that Jack Ma is currently in Lahore on a private visit. Ahsan further mentioned that even the Chinese Embassy is not aware of the details regarding Ma’s visit and engagements in Pakistan.
