BEIJING: The education attaché at Pakistan’s embassy in China, Afifa Shajia Awais, on Monday emphasized the strengthening of collaboration between the universities of the two countries in the vocational education on animal disease control.
In her address at China Agricultural University on the animal industry and job market demand in Pakistan, Afifa said that Pakistan mainly exported fresh meat and processed dairy products to Middle East and wanted to procure processing facilities and cutting-edge technologies from Beijing.
She said that vocational education on main animal disease control was urgently required to meet food hygiene inspections.
Chinese scientists are welcome in Pakistan
She welcomed Chinese scientists to visit Pakistan and play their role in constructing a disease-free zone there.
Afifa added that Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing would support a China-aided project on animal disease control in the upcoming two years.
