Nawaz Sharif urges govt for immediate steps to control inflation
He further stated that the PML-N-led federal government had to take immediate steps to control the skyrocketing inflation and policies should be made to give relief to the people before elections.
Nawaz Sharif added that all political parties should contribute to the country’s development. He said his party had pushed the country to the path of progress after a lot of hard work which was washed away by the opponents in three years.
Moreover, he warned that people will never forgive those who have ruined the country for three years and that they will have to save themselves from such people.
Meanwhile, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the government would soon announce good news for the people, and that the relief package would lessen the troubles that people are facing.
The PML-N would decide on holding elections in the country on one day after consulting with the allies, he said. He further added that they have been struggling to put the country on the path of development for a year.
The meeting discussed the exchange of thoughts on the country’s economic and political affairs, as well as the party’s matters.
The remarks by Nawaz Sharif come at a time when the country is grappling with high inflation and other economic issues. Political parties, including the opposition, have been criticising the government’s policies, blaming them for the deteriorating economic situation.
