ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Security forces have killed eleven Indian-backed terrorists in separate operations in southwestern Balochistan province, security sources said on Saturday.
Security sources said terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan were killed during targeted operations in Panjgur and Chagai districts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna Three.
Fitna-al-Hindustan is an official term designated by the Pakistani government to refer collectively to all Indian backed terrorist groups operating in Balochistan province.
In Panjgur’s Gowargo area, security forces neutralized five terrorists and recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from their possession.

Meanwhile, effective actions were conducted in the Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai district, where six terrorists were killed. A significant cache of arms and explosive material was also seized during these operations.
Pakistan witnesses surge in terror activities
Pakistan witnessed a surge in terror activities, particularly in its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, since 2021, when the Afghan Taliban came into power.
Islamabad has repeatedly urged the Taliban regime to dismantle terrorist sanctuaries on Afghan soil, particularly those linked to the banned TTP terrorist network. However, the Taliban regime has failed to take any action against the terrorist sanctuaries on Afghan soil.
Due to the surge in terrorist attacks, Pakistan has intensified counterterrorism operations to eliminate the menace.
The number of terrorist attacks increased by seven per cent in August, rising from 83 in July to 89, according to a monthly assessment by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies.

On the night of August 31-September 1, terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) launched a coordinated attack on the Customs House at Ziarat Cross on the N-50 National Highway in Pishin district.
In a retaliatory operation, security forces killed 10 terrorists, while six security personnel, including two officers, were martyred in the exchange of fire, according to the military’s media affairs wing.
On August 31, security forces also killed 11 terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan after they blocked the N-40 Quetta-Taftan highway by setting up an illegal checkpoint for extortion in the Nokcha area of Chagai.
On September 2, security forces killed 12 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district. Days later, troops killed 11 terrorists and recovered 2.9 tonnes of explosives during separate operations in Kharan and Washuk districts.
Another 36 terrorists were killed during multiple “high-tempo” operations in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi districts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on September 4. The operations also thwarted an attack on a police station in the Bhag area of Sibi.
On Thursday, seven terrorists were killed by security forces in an IBO in the Badrang area of Balochistan’s Awaran district.
On Friday, security forces killed seven terrorists during two IBOs in the province’s Panjgur and Kachhi districts.
