QUETTA, Pakistan: Commanders of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) visited the families and graves of 27 police personnel martyred in a recent terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Ziarat district, reaffirming that their sacrifices would not be forgotten.
The FC commanders laid wreaths at the graves of the martyr officers, offered Fateha (prayers) and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
According to security sources, 27 police personnel were martyred while confronting terrorists of the India-backed Fitna al-Hindustan terrorist group during the attack in the Ziarat area.
Eighteen of the officers were taken hostage by the terrorists before being martyred after refusing to surrender or compromise the security of the state.
Instead of surrendering or compromising the security of the state, the brave personnel chose to uphold their honour and duty and sacrificed their lives to set the highest example of professional loyalty and bravery.

FC Commanders met the families of police personnel martyred in the Ziarat attack. “The blood of the brave police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the security of the country will not go in vain,” FC Commanders resolved.
Commanders of the Frontier Corps (FC) laid wreaths at the graves of the martyr police personnel, offered Fateha (prayers) and expressed condolences to their bereaved families, in an example of complete unity among Pakistan’s security forces.

The visit by the Frontier Corps commanders reflected the close coordination and strong bond between Pakistan’s law enforcement and security institutions. The law enforcement agencies and paramilitary forces of the country were working together in the fight against terrorism and supporting one another during times of loss.
“The law enforcement agencies and paramilitary forces of the country do not fight terrorists in isolation, but are each other’s companions in this hour of grief and are fighting terrorism together,” security sources said.

Speaking during the meeting with the bereaved families, a senior Frontier Corps officer said, “The blood of our police brothers is a debt to all of us. We share this grief as one family and stand united on a single front against terrorism.”
The Frontier Corps officials assured the bereaved families that the sacrifices of their loved ones will never be forgotten, nor will their blood be allowed to go in vain.
Pakistan’s security forces have launched a counterterrorism Operation Shaban against terrorists in Balochistan, in which 109 terrorists have been eliminated since July 5.
Security sources said a total of 109 “khawarij terrorists” have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations in Balochistan since July 5.
Pakistan witnessed a surge in terror activities, particularly in its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, since 2021, when the Afghan Taliban came into power.
In response, Pakistan launched Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, targeting terrorist hideouts across the border.
