ISLAMABAD: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu on Wednesday said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) inflicted significant damage on India’s air defence system during Marka-e-Haq and delivered what a crushing defeat to the enemy.
Addressing a ceremony held at Air Headquarters to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, the Air Chief said the PAF played a decisive role in defending the country and responding to Indian aggression.

“From Srinagar to Bathinda, the Pakistan Air Force taught the enemy a lesson,” he said, adding that the PAF’s role during Marka-e-Haq would be remembered in “golden words” in Pakistan’s history.
The ceremony was organised to pay tribute to PAF officers and personnel for their role in the 2025 war with India following the Pahalgam incident.
Referring to the attack, the Air Chief said India levelled baseless accusations against Pakistan despite Islamabad offering an impartial and neutral investigation into the incident.
Cyber falcons
The Air Chief said the PAF caused heavy damage to India’s air defence system and successfully targeted enemy capabilities during the confrontation.

He further stated that Pakistan’s “cyber falcons” dismantled enemy cyber security systems and inflicted a humiliating defeat on the Indian Air Force during cyber operations linked to Marka-e-Haq.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also said that India’s S-400 air defence system was neutralised “within moments” and asserted that all enemy installations remained within the PAF’s operational reach.

He said Pakistan demonstrated advanced capabilities in drone warfare and maintained superiority in aerial, electronic and cyber warfare domains.
Praising PAF personnel, the Air Chief said officers and airmen displayed exceptional professionalism and operational excellence throughout the conflict.
He reiterated that the Pakistan Air Force remains fully prepared to safeguard the country’s air frontiers against any future threat.
