ABU DHABI: The Embassy of Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has temporarily suspended all in-person consular services until further notice, citing growing regional instability and safety concerns.

In a public notice issued on Wednesday, the mission said the decision was taken as a precautionary step to safeguard both community members and embassy staff.

The move follows guidance from the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation advising private-sector institutions to adopt remote working arrangements and avoid prolonged presence in open areas.

The embassy emphasized that the suspension is temporary and aimed at ensuring public safety during the evolving situation across the region. It assured Pakistani nationals that essential support would continue through alternative channels.

For urgent matters, the embassy shared the following contact details:

  • Landline: +971 2 4447800
  • Mobile: +971 50 121 0260
  • WhatsApp: +971 50 124 8934

Officials said updates regarding the restoration of regular services would be communicated through official platforms in due course. Pakistani citizens residing in the UAE have been urged to remain vigilant, comply with directives issued by local authorities, and stay updated through verified announcements.

The precautionary step comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following recent US and Israeli military actions against Iran and subsequent retaliatory developments that have unsettled parts of the Gulf region.
